tl;dr: everything is the worst
Is it legal for an employer to cut a part time employee’s hours down to zero for nearly a month? Is there anything I can do about this besides quit? I don’t want to risk quitting until I find a new job, but I haven’t had a single interview yet, and I’m getting kind of desperate. I’m going to have to borrow money from my parents to pay my rent for next month, and I’m having car problems I’m sure I can’t afford to fix.
